God is not a Disney hero.

Don’t get me wrong- I can get down to some Moana or Wreck-It-Ralph. But Disney/Pixar/etc needs to get this straight. Why is it that in every movie it seems that the “light side” only wins by luck or chance? You know, an underdog story. The enemy takes that and makes it seem as though the light and dark side are equal- and the light side can only win by sheer luck. Don’t believe this lie! “There is no equality EVER between CREATOR and CREATED through the power of the resurrection.”- Steve Hambrick.  You see, the Creator is God. The created is, well, anything in creation- you, me, your dog, and yes- the devil. But through the Holy Spirit in us, we have been made into the image of the Creator, so the enemy only sees CREATOR and not CREATED. The enemy no longer sees you- it sees the resurrection. If it only saw the death of Jesus, there would be no point in his attacking. But no- we are alive through the resurrection of Jesus Christ! A new creation, we are doing big works for the Kingdom, and the devil can see that. He only goes after those furthering the ministry. So have joy in your tribulations!! Because you can know that Jesus has gone before and already won the war! “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33.

I’ll say it again- your God is not a Disney hero. He won the WAR- and not by luck. He is almighty and His power goes beyond understanding. He has NO rival, He has NO equal. He will fight your battles; you don’t have to ever be afraid. Find freedom in His power today.
